Get to Know Kathlene
Kathlene understands that the challenges of life may cause us to feel overwhelmed and leave us in situations where we feel stuck and hopeless. She is passionate about walking alongside individuals as they journey together toward healing and growth, as no one is meant to live life alone. Kathlene strives to create a warm, empathic space where people can share their pains and stories in a way that feels safe, accepted, and understood. It is an honour and a privilege for Kathlene to have individuals share their stories and walk with them through difficult times. She believes that every individual can overcome life’s adversaries with inner resilience, courage and strength.
Kathlene completed her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Trinity Western University. She has experience working with children and young adults impacted by anxiety, depression, stress, life stage transitions and family/relational conflicts. Kathlene’s approach to counselling is informed by client-centered, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). She enjoys working with children, young adults, and families.
