Get to Know Emily

Emily brings warmth, depth, and a systemic lens to every encounter—whether she’s sitting with a family in crisis, supporting a couple in reconnection, or guiding a clinician through supervision. Grounded in the belief that people do the best they can with the tools they’ve been given, Emily creates a compassionate space where laughter and lightness are just as welcome as grief and anger. She views individuals within the broader context of their families, cultures, and communities, and supports clients in interrupting generational patterns by fostering new awareness and choice.

Emily deeply values the process of transformation that happens in therapy. She sees conflict, rupture, and reconnection as part of the natural rhythm of relationships and feels honoured to support clients through these pivotal moments. Whether it’s empowering parents to show up with confidence and clarity, or helping partners take emotional risks that lead to deeper intimacy, Emily’s presence is steady, emotionally attuned, and rooted in respect.

What to expect

Emily has extensive experience working with couples and families navigating complex dynamics, including high-conflict divorce and blended family transitions. She is passionate about supporting parents in understanding their blocks and building their caregiving confidence. Emily also works with adult individuals around trauma, self-esteem, and emotional regulation. She especially enjoys witnessing moments of courage—when clients begin to trust themselves and others in new ways.

As a therapist and supervisor, Emily is committed to staying grounded in her own growth, ongoing learning, and reflective practice.
