Get to Know JY
JY holds a warm, safe, and accepting space for who you are and what you are going through. She strives not only to help you navigate life difficulties but also walk alongside you to explore your strength and to grow and thrive in life. Emotional pain can be more painful than any physical pain, but it is often minimized by our friends, family, and even ourselves. JY believes that everyone’s feelings and struggles should be validated with empathy and compassion, and no one should suffer alone. Her own life experience and professional training equip her to support individuals, couples, and families with various struggles, such as life transitions, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, spirituality, communication, emotion regulation, and stress related to finance, relationships, and career. The trauma-informed therapy sessions will focus on root causes and sustainable changes rather than “symptoms” or “a temporary fix.”
